What problems are we trying to solve[edit | edit source]
- People not having access to information
- Better data journalism
Who is our audience?[edit | edit source]
- People all over the world
- Newspapers
- Schools
- We don't know
- All ages
- Sadly- those with digital literacy mostly
What organisations do we work with?[edit | edit source]
- Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums
- Different scales, community groups, regional groups, international groups
What problems do we have?[edit | edit source]
- We all tell people similar things in different ways (can be confusing)
- Organisations with unique content currently don't share it
- Duplicating work
- We don't know what each other are doing
- Multi-lingual
- Local culture is not incorporated
- Branding over vision
- We expect technology before human
- We don't know what people want or need
- The funding models encourage competition instead of real cooperation
Ideas[edit | edit source]
- Take stock what infrastructures we all use
- Share campaigns
- Speaking with a joint voice
- Making concrete links
- Advocacy groups
- Respond to consultations
